What's the Difference Between the Dublin River IVs & IIIs?

Team GS |

Whether you are trudging down muddy lanes or heading to the yard, the right pair of boots can make all the difference. That’s why Dublin River boots have been such a staple for dog walkers, equestrian, and outdoor adventures for years. Durable and Lightweight, they are constructed from premium full leather offering durability without the heavy weight, making them perfect for all-day wear.

The new Dublin River Boots IVs are crafted for better fit, comfort, and protection. But you must be wondering: What exactly makes them different from the River Boots IIIs?

The Sole

The River IV Boots are equipped with an updated Tough-Tec sole. The ‘stirrup-friendly’ design is both durable and lightweight, combining a Phylon midsole with a thermoplastic rubber outsole. It provides optimal cushioning, traction, and enhanced grip for outstanding support with every step.

Enhanced Waterproofness

Unlike the River IIIs with ankle-length waterproof nylon lining, the River IVs have a full-length waterproof membrane lining. Keeping your feet and lower protected, even in harsh conditions.

Keeping You Dry

The new Moisture-wicking RCS Memory+ Foam Footbed system provides exceptional comfort. Combined with a breathable nylon lining it helps keep your feet warm and dry.

What Else?

The addition of metal shanks with a moulded heel and arch support, along with double layers of cushioning, further increases comfort and stability.

The River IVs are a highly versatile option in outdoor footwear, deserving a place in every country wardrobe. Their stirrup-friendly sole allows for an easy transition from the yard to the saddle, while the elasticated top gusset and adjustable lace provide a customised fit.

Available in a diffrent calf-sizes for a perfect fit and three classic colours—BlackChocolate, and Dark Brown—these boots not only perform well but also look great on and off the yard.
