This anatomically correct bit sits evenly and lightly on tongue and bars, and provides more room and freedom of movement for the tongue. When the reins are applied, equal pressure is brought to bear on the tongue and bars. A lateral squeezing of tongue and bars does not occur. Bit guards prevent the pinching of the lips. Thanks to its slightly domed shape, the comfort bar sits very still in the horse"s mouth. Mouthpieces with a slightly bowed bar are considered to be especially gentle and kind to the mouth. This characteristic, combined with our beris plastic, enables the rider to communicate with his horse in a more gentle and delicate way. The comfort bar is ideal for young and sensitive horses. The Kimblewick bit is an effective combination of a lever action on the horse‘s lower jaw, poll pressure and a re-positioning of the bit inside the horse‘s mouth. Three different buckling options allow a well regulated use of the bit. The solid sidepieces of the bit give it a certain weightiness, which ensures a quieter position in the mouth.
